Lynette Shultz is Professor Emerita and the former Director of the Centre for Global Citizenship Education and Research in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta.

Dr. Shultz researches epistemic justice, global citizenship, and conviviality to understand how forms of democracy, social justice, and education can support well-being in the face of climate crises. She has designed and implemented several global classroom projects that bring together educators and youth as policy actors to learn to live together on a shared planet.
